The renowned didgeridoo player Goma started painting in 2009, two days after he got caught in a car accident. Despite barely painting before that, he became engrossed, spending entire days creating art. However, he also began suffering from after-effects, including higher brain dysfunction and memory loss. Goma was later diagnosed with acquired savant syndrome, a brain injury that causes special talents to emerge.

Goma often fell unconscious after the accident, and his paintings are based on what he saw at those times. What you hear from this venue is his didgeridoo music—a new piece he composed to accompany this space where his new and recent paintings are lined up.
GOMA feels that the luminous object he depicts is “the light shared by all humans and the source of life from which everything begins.” It is the light at the end of everyone’s journey, and Goma wants everyone to see it. It is this thought that drives him to create art every day.
